Fut Micro Implant Technique

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) hair implants are carried out using a micro grafting technique and consists of using micro surgical forceps to extract follicular units from the donor site in the occipital area or nape of the neck and implanting them in the front area of the head affected by alopecia. This type of hair surgery is done under local anaesthetic and is permanent. It leaves no scars in the transplanted area and an imperceptible scar in the place where the strip of skin was removed. This technique allows more grafts per session to be carried out than the FUE technique and is advisable for people with severe alopecia.
